OUR CORE TENET

Community Outreach

A grounding core tenet of EMBC-S is community outreach. We currently host four programs that spiritually feed and uplift the central Colorado Springs community: Counseling, Church on the Street, Sandwich Tuesday, and Community Food Pantry. What better way to promote the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ than to reflect and realize His teachings throughout our community?

Sandwich Tuesday & Pantry

Meet Our Pastor

Pastor Jackie T. Samuel Jr.

Jackie T. Samuel Jr.

Campus Pastor · EMBC South

✉️ jack@godiswithus.org

I have been a part of Emmanuel since 2008. I began serving as a drummer, never imagining how God would continue to shape and expand my calling. Over time, I stepped into youth ministry, where I served as teacher, director, and Youth Pastor. For the past two years I have had the honor of serving as the Campus Pastor of Emmanuel's South Campus.

I am an Army combat medic veteran, a husband, a father, and a grandfather. Professionally, I serve as a lead patient experience officer at a local military hospital, where advocacy, compassion, and clarity matter every day. I am also a recent graduate from Colorado Christian University, with a master's degree in mental health counseling, which has further deepened my commitment to holistic care—spiritually, emotionally, and relationally.

By gifting, I am an encourager. I am passionate about helping people grow spiritually, emotionally, and purposefully—confirming, validating, and affirming their healing while helping them recognize and operate in their God-given gifting. I am confident that healing is a process, growth is ongoing, and that we are all becoming who God formed us to be.

Outside of ministry and work, I enjoy listening to music, spending quality time and having fun with my family, and occasionally reading.

In His Service,
Pastor Jack Samuel
